From the castle to the mountain - return
<p>The route connects Beseno Castle with Folgaria by ascending the left orographic side of the Rio Cavallo - Rosspach valley. It is therefore the return route of From the Castle to the Mountain, which connects the main village of Folgaria with Lagarino Castle.</p>
<p>It is undoubtedly a demanding route (almost 1000 m of elevation gain), suitable for good hikers and those not afraid of altitude differences. On the other hand, it leads the hiker to various points of interest: panoramic points on the middle and upper Rio Cavallo valley, the remains of the Calliano - Folgaria military cable car transit station (war 1914-1918), the ancient Cimbrian farmstead of Ondertol located below Val Fonda of Monte Finonchio, the village of Guardia (an ancient castle lookout post), known as the "painted village" due to the numerous murals on the house walls; the picturesque Ofentol waterfall, the shade and wide forest of Gon, and the Rosspach - Rio Cavallo stream.</p>
