From Segonzano to Palù del Fersina along the E5

Section of the European path crossing the Piné Plateau and continuing towards Venice.

Section of the European E5 path that cuts through the Piné Plateau, a territory loved for the presence of numerous alpine lakes, small villages, lush woods, and pastures where grazing animals feed and thanks to which fragrant and tasty local cheeses are produced.
The itinerary starts from Segonzano where it passes above the famous site of the Earth Pyramids of Segonzano and reaches the panoramic village of Bedollo offering a breathtaking view of the Piné lakes. From the Centrale district it then climbs to the Redebus pass which connects the plateau to the nearby Mocheni Valley.

From Centrale di Bedollo, a district crossed by the path, you can deviate from the path by taking the lake cycle route and reach in a couple of hours the district of Brusago where there is the small but characteristic Lake delle Buse (see the alternate route Bedollo-Brusago-Malga Stramaiolo-Redebus pass). Also from Centrale, heading in the opposite direction, in about half an hour on foot you reach the village of Piazze, where it is possible to visit the botanical garden of the Gocce D'oro Beekeeping.
