From Campel to the Calisio Summit
<p>Loop route on the trails surrounding Monte Calisio, for immersion in nature and history.</p>
<p>The trail starts from the former Campel refuge and climbs through the woods along the slope of Monte Calisio. A shaded trek where you find hidden remains of mining, a lime kiln, and Austro-Hungarian fortifications from the Great War, including the Casara fort. From the plateau at the top of Calisio, the view spans the Valsugana and Adige Valley.</p>
