Domadore - Bivacco Menegazzi - Malga Cavallera

The walk to the Bivacco Menegazzi (bivouac) is a hike that starts just past the Cereda Pass, in Domodore, an incredibly fascinating fraction at the foot of the Pala Group.

The hike begins on the forest road that climbs eastward, along Trail No. 720 for Malga Cavallera. After about 35 minutes you reach Prà de la Forca, then follow the track for another 15 minutes to reach the Valle dei Molini. On the left, you can see the track to reach the Bivacco Menegazzi.

Again on the left, an easy track appears, which maintaining the same altitude takes you to Malga Cavallera.

From the Malga (1,679 m asl), you are treated to the spectacle offered by the majestic Pale Orientali (south-east block of the Pala Group), from Feltraio to Agnèr, which accompanies you for the entire hike; downstream, you have Piz di Sagron and the Dolomiti Bellunesi.

You then head downhill following the return track, which comfortably leads you to the forest road and then back to Domadore.
