Central Bocchette Via Ferrata, Brenta Dolomites

Spectacular, highly panoramic route along the most aerial ledges of the Brenta Dolomites: a dream for lovers of void, vertigo, verticality, and superb views.

The Central Bocchette route leads into the wild heart of the Brenta Dolomites, in the presence of majestic and evocative peaks such as Brenta Alta, Campanil Basso, Alto, Torre di Brenta, and Crozzòn. The itinerary is a hymn to verticality, highly panoramic and aerial, always progressing at altitude (between 2500 and 2800 m), on ledges that overlook the void, challenging exposure.

Perhaps one of the most beautiful and thrilling routes in the Brenta Dolomites, with unmatched panoramic views.

The via ferrata takes about 4 hours to complete but, when calculating total times, one must take into account the long approach and return (another 4-7 hours). The itinerary can be done clockwise (from Rif. Alimonta to Bocca di Brenta) or counterclockwise (from Rif. Pedrotti to Bocca di Brenta to Rif. Alimonta); the latter has better light exposure conditions.

The path, well equipped with metal cables and ladders, is recommended for experienced and fit hikers due to length, exposure, and technical difficulty.
