Canazei - Alba - Penìa

<p>Easy route that, skirting the right and left orographic sides of the Avisio, connects Canazei to the hamlets of Alba and Penìa. </p>

<p>From Canazei square, go down along Strèda Roma. Cross the playground and, passing the small bridge on the left over Rio Antermont, you will shortly reach the parking lot of the Dòlaondes Aquatic Center. On the right, the footbridge over the Avisio allows you to move to the opposite riverbank. Then enter the dirt road which, passing behind the ski school building, leads to the exit of the village. Continue until the locality "Ciasates", near the Civil Protection headquarters. Cross the state road and turn left onto the paved road Strèda dò Veisc which closely follows the course of the stream. The route, mostly flat, alternates open spaces with well-shaded parts. After passing the playground, keep pedaling until you reach the provincial road in a few minutes. Cross it near Hotel Agomer (Penìa) and take the dirt road that passes by Hotel Villa Rosella. Cross the wooden bridge to reach the opposite bank of the Avisio stream. The route (trail marker no. 605) now enters the woods, closely following the watercourse, and alternates short climbs with long flat stretches. Climb the valley until you reach the provincial road of Passo Fedaia near the "Pènt de Giaveisc" bridge. Reverse direction and follow the paved road downhill, then leave it after about 400 m. At the bend, take Strèda de Treve on the right which will lead you to the hamlet of Penìa. From the small square, return downhill to join Strèda de Ciamp Trujan. Return now by the same outbound route.</p>
