Camino Jacobeo d'Anaunia - III final stage short version

<p><strong>From Rumo to the Sanctuary of San Romedio</strong>. This version of the third stage allows you to finish the Walk already on the third day. You start from Marcena di Rumo to reach the famous Sanctuary of S. Romedio near Sanzeno.</p>

<p>This version of the third stage allows to complete the <strong>short version of the Camino Jacobeo</strong>. Starting from Marcena, you proceed downhill towards the Pescara stream. The sound of its waters pleasantly accompanies the pilgrim almost to Cagnò, the “Third Bank” where you can enjoy unforgettable views of Lake S. Giustina and the Val di Non. The final part of the stage takes us to walk the suggestive rocky path (former nineteenth-century irrigation canal) to reach the <strong>Sanctuary of S. Romedio</strong>, the destination of our journey. This is the symbolic place of the human experience of the hermit Romedius who, after leaving his goods and during his pilgrimage to Rome, was captivated by the roughness of this valley to dedicate the rest of his life entirely to God and intimate contact with nature.</p>
