Caladora da Val Venegia

<p>Comfortable and easy ski mountaineering route up to the base of Cima Caladora, inside the splendid Val Venegia, which offers a full view of the Pale di San Martino.</p>

<p>The itinerary is a classic and comfortable excursion that allows skiing along the western ridge of Val Venegia.</p> <p>The starting point is located at Pian dei Casoni where it is easy to park your vehicle. After an easy ascent alongside the Travignolo stream, the view expands to the majesty of the Pale di San Martino, and you enter Val Venegia.</p> <p>After passing Malga Venegia, you start to ascend along the meadows and woods on the western side of the same valley and after passing the locality La Manda at a steady pace, you climb up to reach the ridge beneath Cima Valles and Cima Venegiota. Arriving at the location Caladora, the view of the Pale di San Martino is particularly stunning and by turning 360 degrees offers a complete view of Col Margherita and the nearby peak Bocche.</p> <p>Removing the skins, the descent goes in the opposite direction to the ascent with a scenic descent to Malga Venegiota, followed by a comfortable return first to Malga Venegia and then to Pian dei Casoni.</p>
