At Fort Campomolon
<p>An easy and pleasant walk that leads from the Valbona Pass, near Monte Toraro, to the remains of the Italian fort of Campomolon (First World War 1914-1918).</p>
<p>The route, on a comfortable alpine road exposed to the sun, presents no difficulties. Wide views of the Vicentine valleys, the Tonezza plateau, and the distant Asiago plateau accompany the walk. The beauty of the mountain is accompanied by the suggestions of history. Indeed, the remains of the fort recall the Great War, and the events that took place there in May 1916 during the first violent phases of the Strafexpedition.</p>
