How many shapes can wood take? Discover it on an easy path along which you can meet a majestic eagle, a pack of wolves, and the imposing Bregostana, the witch who inhabits Ladin woods and legends.

Scenic route, where the incredible works in wood and natural materials, created by artist Francesco Avancini, come to life in front of the most beautiful views of the Dolomites… The first you will meet after getting off the cable car will be the guardians of Buffaure: a pack of five giant wolves watching over the basin from the mountain side. Continuing, you can take the chairlift that will take you to 2400 meters, at an incredible panoramic point. Just below the arrival you will find the butterfly-shaped bench with views of Sassolungo, Sassopiatto, and the Sella Group. Don't miss the chance for an unforgettable photo. Walking down for about half an hour, to Baita Cuz, here is the giant eagle, whose wings were made with 220 larch boards. Once back in the basin, you will find a bench with dragonfly wings, another shaped like a dragon, and the legendary Bregostana: fearsome, huge and made with recycled wood from the Vaia storm. About ten minutes further down, the thrones of King Laurin allow you to admire Vigo and Pozza from above. And remember: before taking the cable car again, stop at the top station to enjoy the panorama from the giant deck chairs!
