Although it is located in one of the best-known parts of the Pale di San Martino and offers an incredible panorama, Forcèlla Sédole is an alternative and not very crowded route.
The route to reach the Forcella once path No. 709 is left is rather technical with a terrain that is partly unstable but overall not dangerous, as both sides are covered and not exposed. Once you leave path No. 709 and cross the first pass, the view of Valle di Primiero offered by the traverse on the natural terrace leading to Forcèlla Sédole will take your breath away. Although the path of the Sédole is not classified as a via ferrata, some sections are equipped with bolts, steps, and fixed ropes.
