Alta Via between Carega and Zugna - Long-distance trekking

<p>A 30 km trek on the ridges between Vallarsa and Vallagarina, starting from Pian delle Fugazze up to Rifugio Monte Zugna.</p>

<p>Start from Pian delle Fugazze, heading towards Campogrosso across the Tibetan bridge (for those feeling adventurous).<br/>Then continue from Campogrosso on trail 157 towards Boale dei Fondi, Bocchetta Mosca with a recommended stop of up to one and a half hours at Rif. Fraccaroli. From the hut, proceed on trail 115 towards Passo Buole.</p> <p>Pass over Bocchetta Cherlong, below Cima Cherlong, and then Bocchetta di Grole, beside Cima della Neve and Cima Posta. Immerse yourself in the meadows of Sinel passing the Bivacco Sinel, then cross the eastern slope, Val di Gatto, arriving at the homonymous Malga. From there, cross Passo Buole towards Monte Zugna, beside Cima Selvata, to complete the 30 kilometers walk at Rifugio Coni Zugna in the Peace Park.</p> <p>The next day, retrace the route back to Passo Buole then you can deviate towards Riva di Vallarsa; halfway down, diverting towards Ometto - Obra di Vallarsa, you will cross the road tunnel (closed to traffic) and emerge into Valle della Siebe, heading to trail 152 (Campogrosso - Malga Siebe).</p> <p>At the Siebe saddle, at 1100 meters altitude, take the ancient Siebe road towards Campogrosso leaving trail 152, or remain on trail 152 continuing towards Malga Siebe up to Spiazzo delle Pierche, then on trail 151 towards Malga Storta - Campogrosso, returning via the Tibetan bridge to Pian delle Fugazze.</p>
