Albaredo Mushroom Trail
Easy hike to the Fungo di Albaredo, a peculiar rock formation on Monte Zugna, and onwards in a loop to the Sorgente del Prà and the Grotta di Damiano Chiesa.
The path leads immediately after a few minutes to the so-called Fungo di Albaredo, the result of selective erosion processes occurring during landslides that have moulded the rock into a mushroom-like shape. Then, following this loop trail suggestion, we encounter two other interesting points on Monte Zugna, namely the Sorgente del Prà - which springs from detrital deposits below the Busa dei Galai - and the Grotta di Damiano Chiesa - dedicated to the Rovereto patriot Damiano Chiesa, which contains a cannon aimed at Rovereto.
