It is the Folgaretano loop of the larger 100 Km dei Forti route that covers the entire Alpe Cimbra. This is a challenging trail that requires technical skills and abilities but offers great satisfaction, both for its variability and for the numerous historical, natural, and scenic points of interest.
The Folgaretano loop is part of the long and spectacular MTB circuit of the "100 Km dei Forti," which in its complete version also includes the areas of Lavarone and Luserna. Its high variability, significant elevation changes, and sudden altitude shifts make it suitable for experienced bikers. In return for the effort, the itinerary offers access to beautiful locations, featuring the Forts Dosso delle Somme, Sommo Alto, and Cherle, which were significant during the Great War. The heights provide breathtaking views, among the most thrilling in Trentino, overlooking the Brenta Dolomites, the glaciers of Adamello and Presanella, and the heights surrounding Lake Garda.
