36 - Lombis Circuit
Buse is a modest settlement located at the upper head of the Val d'Astico and is a hamlet of the Municipality of Folgaria, historically connected (due to the dairy, the church, the school) to the above village of Nosellari. At its origins, dating back to the German-Cimbrian migrations, there was the construction of a hydraulic mill, followed over time by three others, of which only a few traces remain today. Sunken in the valley, the oldest part shows interesting examples of rural architecture.
The route develops in a wooded area following the ancient Lombis path, the same route that was traditionally walked, from Nosellari to Buse, for the traditional Rogation processions (blessing of the fields), which took place on April 25. To see in Buse: the ancient chapel dedicated to Saint Vigilio, the oldest part of the village, and the beautiful bridge over the Astico stream.
