28 - Mülpoch circuit
Alpe Cimbra preserves many German-Cimbrian place names and Mülpoch is one of them. It means 'mill stream' and refers to the beautiful stream that flows northeast of the village of San Sebastiano, on the mid-lower eastern slope of Mount Cornetto. The area through which it flows is covered by a dense mantle of red spruces.
The slope rising above San Sebastiano is quite steep but the ancient path that runs through it climbs gradually offering continuous panoramic views. It is a typical alpine environment, made up of woods and clearings, where, at certain times of day, early in the morning or in the evening after sunset, it is not uncommon to see roe deer and chamois.
