23 - Ortesino route
The main point of interest of this route is the so-called Stallone dell'Ortesino, an ancient stone structure, a sort of artificial cave, used in past centuries as a summer shelter for grazing cows. But the beauty of the pastures and the fir forests in the area should not be underestimated.
It is a walk suitable also for families with children aged 6 and over. It starts from the parking lot of the Ortesino chairlift and follows the forest road that climbs through the woods. Shortly after, you reach the Stallone. After that, you continue in the beautiful pasture environment of what was the Ortesino Malga, now a mountain restaurant open seasonally. Return to the Ortesino area from the east.
