11 - Ascent Fontanelle
It is a variant of the Ascent to Salt dela Volp that starts from Folgaria. The first section of the route diagonally crosses the wide grassy area above the village of Costa, then it enters the dense forest of Norway spruces covering the slope, until it joins the main track. The destination is the panoramic viewpoint of Salt dela Volp. Also recommended for families with children aged 6 and over. <p> </p>
Already in the first stretch the panorama opens below us, allowing a full view of the village of Costa and the grassy basin surrounding it. But the true panorama, capable of moving us, is at the destination, from the hill of Salt dela Volp. From there you can grasp the vastness of the plateau, up to the peaks of Passo Coe, Mount Finonchio, and Mount Stivo.
