Guided excursion to the gorge of Sorna stream
If you are an adventurous person, don’t miss this activity in Monte Baldo Park
Are you an adventurous person not afraid of getting your hands dirty or getting your feet wet? Do the usual guided hikes on normal mountain trails bore you? Then this excursion is suitable for you: a dip in the canyon carved by Sorna stream to discover ancient mines, suspended bridges over dark abysses, fairytale caves and smooth gorges carved and shaped by water.
With an expert guide you will depart from the small village of Corné, pass through the woods and then descend to the bed of Sorna river meeting the so called “el pont del Diaol” (“Devil’s bridge”), an ancient bridge of great beauty, where the stream falls into a ravine of about thirty meters deep. The walk continues through equipped staircases up to the ancient mines in the river bed.
If the temperature and the water level allow it, you can also take a bath in the natural pools, where you will be completely immersed in Monte Baldo Park!
