Valsugana Bike paths

A bike path crossing Valsugana valley - a unique way of enjoying nature and relax away from traffic and pollution. The tour starts at Calceranica and at Lake Caldonazzo and ends at Tezze di Grigno, although the path keeps going beyond Trentino border and all the way to the Veneto Region, till it reaches Bassano del Grappa and totals 80 km. Most of the path runs alongside River Brenta, and although over half of the route uses side roads open to traffic, cars are rarely met and the result is a peaceful ride in the countryside.

The path crosses through various areas, each of which offers interesting attractions, and as such a good reason for stopping by. In several places along the path bikers can enjoy the Bicigrill rest-points of Novaledo and Tezze di Grigno, where they can stop for a meal and useful information. The Valsugana cycling path is not especially difficult and is ideal for everyone, both beginners and experts. Although the path is paved, the ideal time for travelling goes from spring to autumn.
