Also this year for the sixth time, the "Mountain Agriculture Festival - Nosellari Leek Day" will take place on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 October, strongly promoted by the Pro Loco Nosellari-Oltresommo to shed light on the issues and problems of the mountain and those who live and work there. During the Festival, there will be a farmers market where you will have the opportunity to taste, learn secrets and peculiarities, and purchase this flagship product of the Alpe Cimbra. Mountain Agriculture Festival – Nosellari Leek Day
With autumn, and October in particular, comes the leek harvest.
In Nosellari, this vegetable has become somewhat of a symbol of the small village, and its harvest has turned into a celebration — a festival that also serves as an opportunity to reflect on mountain agriculture, which is so different and challenging compared to other, less rugged and milder areas.
Thus, for the sixth year, the “Mountain Agriculture Festival – Nosellari Leek Day” returns, strongly supported by the Pro Loco Nosellari-Oltresommo association to shine a light on the issues and realities of life and work in the mountains.

Sunday
In Nosellari at the Sports Center
10:00 AM – 5:00 PM – Slow Food Earth Market, featuring:
- Sale of local products
- Sale of Nosellari leek
- Sale of the Cimbrian Cardoncello mushroom ("Drakebris")
- Meet the local animals: donkeys, goats, sheep – with Davide and Tatiana
12:30 PM – Lunch
Menu:
- Baked pasta with leeks and pumpkin
- Polenta with Drakebris
- "Tonc de Pontesel" (local dish)
- Apple pie
Cost: €20.00 drinks not included
(Reservation required by October 10th)
2:00 PM – “Let’s Make Cheese”, a workshop by Enea, a young cheesemaker who will show the process from milk to cheese
3:00 PM – Concert by the band “I LUF”, part of the “Alpitudini” project
3:00 PM – 4:00 PM – Kids’ Workshop
5:00 PM – Closing of the event
