The Società Cooperativa Sociale Archè is a social cooperative providing activities for socially disadvantaged people - such as the elderly, disabled and youths - by recurring to a sailboat, which is always at their disposal at San Nicolò Port in Riva del Garda. The boat boasts a number of features for enhanced accessibility, which makes it highly special and unique in its kind. The cooperative focuses on improving life-quality and promoting psychological-social wellbeing as ground values within the scope of a rehabilitation program. As such, it offers individuals a place where they can achieve these goals, not just from a sport perspective, but in an educational sense, and using sailing to foster a deeper physical and emotional involvement among participants. As such, sports and entertainment become means to allow a form of quick, effortless learning.
