Artificial rock gyms - Fondo

Rock-climbing is a fun sport which, thanks to its different techniques and the various difficulty levels featured by rock-walls, allows almost anyone to try. On the artificial rock gyms it is possible to climb virtually all year round, with no risk of getting out of practice. Val di Non has several indoor artificial rock walls such as the one in Fondo, built and managed by the local section of Trentino Alpinists Association.
Located on the third floor of the Fondo Municipal Hall, the gym, which is the first of this kind in Trentino, was built in 1988, was later expanded and upgraded to guarantee total safety conditions while learning, or experimenting, rock-climbing various techniques.
