Earth Market – Slow Food in Tonadico
Small producers and artisans from the Slow Food Primiero Convivium and neighboring Slow Food communities enliven the garden of Palazzo Scopoli with their colorful and fragrant stalls, filled with local fruit and vegetables, cereals and flours, cheeses, mountain herb- and flower-based products, honey, chocolate and sweets, natural cosmetics, wool and felt creations, and other artisanal gems.
This is not just a village market, but a place of conviviality where you can spend quality time together. It’s a place to shop for good, clean and fair products, and above all, to connect with the farming knowledge and artisanal identity of the area, while discovering the world of Slow Food and the local Solidarity Purchase Groups.
Program highlights:
- A tasty aperitif with Earth Market products, €5.00, no reservation needed
- Throughout the afternoon: craft demonstrations, workshops and games for children, meet-the-author events and guided tastings
- Scent of Bread: the communal wood-fired oven at the Palazzo will be lit, with friendly Alessandro showing the way. You can also bring your own loaf to bake!
