The crib "La via di Betlemme"
Come and visit one of the most evocative nativity scenes in the valley. Over 100 characters and 900 meters of pathway await you to immerse yourself in a small Bethlehem, where each hut tells a profession: there are those who prepare bread, those who repair shoes, those who dye fabrics. And of course, the nativity is not to be missed.Free entry, accessible freely during the day and in the evening, when everything lights up creating a truly enchanting atmosphere.
All this is the Varena nativity scene “On the Road to Bethlehem,” born in 1989 from the idea of some volunteers to create something unique and magical for Christmas.
Every character, animal, decoration, and little house is the result of artisanal work. From papier-mâché to wood to the recovery of fabrics: everything enhances authenticity, passion, and craftsmanship.
The nativity scene will remain on display until January 18, 2026
