Marcialonga Story
Revival of cross-country skiing with historical equipment on a 10 km route from Pozza to Canazei
Usually hosted at the Lago di Tesero Cross-Country Ski Centre, this year - in the lead-up to the Olympic Games - Marcialonga Story is moving to Val di Fassa, in Pozza, to the Ciancoal cross-country skiing area (Fraine).
This is not a competitive race, but a gathering for those who love cross-country skiing "as it used to be", with historical equipment, vintage details and an atmosphere steeped in tradition. To take part, you must be equipped with skis made before 1976 and 75 mm bindings; boots, poles and clothing must also match the era and the discipline.
The route is approximately 10 km long and leads to Canazei, where the finish line is located, with refreshments along the way.
