Lusernar Zimbar Loaf 2025: a run through nature, history and tradition

The magic of mountain running returns to Luserna on August 24, 2025, with a new edition of the Lusernar Zimbar Loaf: an event that blends sport, culture, and territory into a unique and engaging experience.

This year, the race has officially become part of the prestigious Gran Premio delle Montagne Trentine circuit, confirming its status among the region’s reference events in trail running.

The competitive route, approximately 9 km, winds through pristine landscapes, historic trails, and breathtaking views—a perfect mix of technical challenge and natural beauty to test athletes’ legs and hearts.

The Lusernar Zimbar Loaf is also an inclusive event: alongside the main race, the Lusernar Zimbar Von Famildje takes place, a non-competitive run open to families, children, friends, and casual walkers—to enjoy the event in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere.

It’s a day designed for everyone, centered on sport, well-being, and discovering the territory, accompanied by local delicacies, friendly faces, and the warm hospitality of the Luserna community.

Requirements:
Open to athletes with valid FIDAL, Runcard, Mountain & Trail Runcard, EPS memberships and medical certificates; only FIDAL athletes are eligible for the championship.
