We are the flood - Noi siamo il diluvio
WE ARE THE FLOOD - Noi siamo il diluvio is the new liquid platform on climate crisis, anthropocene interactions and ecological transition that invites visitors to get involved in the themes of the Anthropocene through the language and interpretation of contemporary art.
A MUSE project conceived and curated by artist Stefano Cagol that opens with Liquid Exhibition #1 at Palazzo delle Albere.
The first liquid exhibition inaugurates the project with works by six prominent international artists: Eugenio Ampudia (Spain), Nezaket Ekici (Turkey/Germany), Elena Lavelles (Spain), Shahar Marcus (Israel), Hans Op de Beeck (Belgium) and Philip Samartzis (Australia).
The exhibition spans the fields of video art, ecoacoustics and performance art, taking the visitor from the fragmented icebergs of the Antarctic to the Negev desert, from water to fire, to hypnotic black gold.
WE ARE THE FLOOD is also launching an open call open until 29 May 2022 for artists under 35 of any nationality, invited to propose works around these themes which, if selected, will become the protagonists of WE ARE THE FLOOD - Liquid Exhibition #2, which will open in June 2022.
