Trekking

Year after year, the trekking experience at I Suoni delle Dolomiti is one of the most immersive and intimate of the entire festival, with its ability to encapsulate the elements at the core of the fête’s philosophy: music and mountains. For 2023, the initiative consists of 3 days of walking amid the Fassa Dolomites, being led by dedicated Mountain Guides and sharing the journey with passionate musicians. 

This year, the project takes the form of a dialogue in music, featuring aerophone instruments and lyricism that bears hints of the Mediterranean. A theatrical adventure, Tango Macondo is the fruit of a collaboration between Paolo Fresu (trumpet and flugelhorn) and Daniele Di Bonaventura (bandonean), further perfected by the contribution of Pierpaolo Vacca (accordion). Under the guidance of this trio of great artists, two young musicians - Giulio Ferraro (trumpet) and Giosué Mazzei (guitar) - from the Conservatorio F.A. Bonporti di Trento e Riva del Garda will take part in this truly special dialogue, which aims to deepen the relationship between music and nature.

Please be informed that the event “Il Trekking de I Suoni delle Dolomiti” will be filmed and recorded to promote and market the Festival "I Suoni delle Dolomiti" starting from the 2023 edition and for those that follow in Italy and abroad. Before the beginning of the “Il Trekking de I Suoni delle Dolomiti” event, participants who give their consent to be filmed will be asked to sign a specific release form.
