Sagra di San Vigilio - Town festival

Celebrations for Moena's patron saint, organised by local associations. The Municipal Band of Moena, the Alpine Group, the Grop de Turchia (the "Turchia" district group), the Fire Brigade, the Moena Events Committee and Dal Macellaio (butcher's) are present in the square to accompany the three days of celebrations with the best typical specialities, to be eaten together on outdoor tables, in the true sense of community.

Programme Festa de Sèn Vile, Saturday 24 June:

• from 6.00 p.m. to midnight - outdoor party in the square "Piaz de Ramon" with live music; food stands with polenta, sausage, chicken, fries and "fortaes" (delicious fried pastry in the characteristic shape of a snail enriched by cranberry jam)

Programme Festa de Sèn Vile, Sunday 25 June:

• from 11.00 a.m. to midnight - outdoor party in the square "Piaz de Ramon" with live music (at 11 a.m.,/6 p.m./9 p.m.); food stands with polenta, sausage, chicken, fries and "fortaes" (delicious fried pastry in the characteristic shape of a snail enriched by cranberry jam)
• at 4.00 p.m. - in the main hall "Simone Chiocchetti" of the school complex, presentation of the Armando Vadagnini's latest book "Conversazioni di storia trentina" (Conversations on Trentino History)

Programme Festa de Sèn Vile, Sunday 26 June:

• at 6.00 a.m. - awakening of the village with the brass instruments of Moena’s marching band
• at 9.00 a.m. - opening of the festival with a parade of Moena’s marching band, the "Schutzen" group and the local authorities
• at 10.00 a.m. - Holy Mass
• at 11.00 a.m. - concert by Moena’s marching band with the typical "grostoli" (sweet fried dough) of Sèn Vile and parade from the church to the square "Piaz de Ramon"
• from Midday to 2.30 p.m. - open kitchens with traditional dishes by local associations
