I Suoni delle Dolomiti: Lana Kos, Mikheil Sheshaberidze e i Solisti di Verona

Tribute to One of the Greatest Opera Composers on the Centenary of His Death. On the centenary of Giacomo Puccini's death, I Suoni delle Dolomiti will pay tribute to one of the greatest opera composers of all time, who left an indelible mark on the history of music. Operas like La Bohème, Tosca, and Turandot are admired worldwide for their melodic beauty, emotional depth, and powerful dramaturgy. It will be the most famous arias and duets from the works of the Tuscan composer that will guide the audience across the meadows of Villa Welsperg in Val Canali, at the foot of the Pale di San Martino, to listen to the voices of soprano Lana Kos, one of the brightest stars in the world of opera, and Georgian tenor Mikheil Sheshaberidze. They will be accompanied by I Solisti di Verona, an ensemble formed by principal musicians of the Arena di Verona Orchestra, who have collaborated on various artistic projects and performed in major concert halls worldwide: Gunther Sanin on violin, Giampiero Sobrino on clarinet, Sara Airoldi on cello, and Roberto Corlianó on piano, who also curated the transcriptions. Inclusive Music Since 2023, I Suoni delle Dolomiti has been working to improve accessibility for audiences with disabilities. In collaboration with Remoove, this concert is accessible to people with motor and sensory disabilities, providing dedicated information and booking services, and on-site support to reach the concert using inclusive vehicles and bikes. For the deaf, the innovative Subpac audio-tactile devices, which can be worn like backpacks and vibrate to the rhythm of the music, will allow them to perceive the sound. The Tonadico-Cimerlo route is closed for construction. You can hike from Tonadico along the first part of the SAT 719 trail, then follow signs to Loc. Val Canali. By car: From Primiero, follow signs for Val Canali (parking is available until full). By bus: Free bus service will be available on concert day, connecting Fiera di Primiero to Val Canali (Villa Welsperg stop).

• Departures from Fiera di Primiero Bus Station: 10:00 AM, 10:30 AM, and 11:00 AM. Stops at Tonadico on Via Castelpietra, near parking areas along the Val Canali access road: Lisiera, Centrale Castelpietra, Madonna della Luce junction. 
• Return buses from Val Canali (Villa Welsperg stop): 2:00 PM and 2:30 PM.

Weather Contingency Plan

In case of bad weather, the concert will be held in Fiera di Primiero, Auditorium Intercomunale, at 5:30 PM. Free tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 3:30 PM at the Auditorium.
