I present to you the work is an initiative of the museum to enhance and make known its heritage.
Every second Wednesday of the month, a work is presented to the public, in a relaxed atmosphere, which will remain on display for the following weeks in the Bishops' Hall.
The archaeologist Nicoletta Pisu will present the chapel found under the main altar of the church of Sant'Apollinare in Piedicastello: a small silver reliquary that will be exhibited for a month in the Sala Vescovi. The chapel has a lid and sides decorated with a half-bust human figure and an intertwined motif of Lombard animalistic style, details that allow it to be dated to the early seventh century. The reliquary was delivered to the Civic Museum of Trento on 24 October 1859.
On the occasion of the presentation, Alessandro Weber, member of the "Origami Diffusion Center" Association, will create curious origami inspired by the shapes narrated by Nicoletta Pisu.
To conclude the event, there will be an aperitif in the Castelvecchio Gardens, curated by the Cafeteria of the Museum, where you can continue the dialogue, share opinions and admire the Castello del Buonconsiglio with the light of sunset.
