Enrosadira Time with snowshoes at Ciampac
Experience an unforgettable sunset: walk through the snow and delight in the exquisite flavours prepared by the Crepa Neigra Rifugio
Put on a pair of snowshoes and step onto an expanse of immaculate snow, where you can walk without sinking and enjoy an unforgettable experience. Marvel at a majestic panorama featuring the Sella and Sassolungo groups, Colac, and Crepa Neigra in the foreground. Be guided by an experienced alpine guide who will share fascinating insights about the area, and warm up in a cosy refuge with a selection of delicious treats. To top it all off, experience a breathtaking Dolomite sunset. This is Enrosadira Time at Ciampac: a unique opportunity to admire the Alpenglow ("Enrosadira") - a Ladin word describing the phenomenon that makes the Dolomites glow with vibrant colours at sunrise and sunset - from a special location at 2160 metres above sea level.
Enrosadira Time programme:
- 4:00 p.m. - Meet in Alba at the bottom station of the gondola lift, where you will board together with other participants in this unique experience
- 4:10 p.m. - All aboard! The gondola lift takes you up to 2160 metres at Ciampac. During the ride, enjoy panoramic views of the town of Alba and the surrounding peaks, including the Sella Group and Sassolungo
- 4:20 p.m. - After putting on your snowshoes, set off on a gentle snowshoe hike led by your guide, who will introduce you to the wonders of the Dolomite environment, from its geological history to its flora, fauna, and fascinating curiosities
- 5:30 p.m. - Before stepping into the warmth of the Crepa Neigra Rifugio, take in the magic of the Alpenglow ("Enrosadira"), as the mountains turn shades of pink and red and the sky is painted in stunning hues at sunset
- Around 6:00 p.m. - Indulge in the creations of the chef and their team, who will treat you to an aperitif featuring the typical flavours of the Ladin valley. Enjoy a selection of local cheeses and cold cuts, accompanied by fine Trentino wines presented by the producer. For younger guests, a delicious La Trentina apple juice will be served
- 6:45 p.m. - After the aperitif, prepare to return to the valley
- 7:00 p.m. - Board the gondola lift for a quick descent back to the village of Alba di Canazei
Prices:
- € 50 adults
- € 35 children born between 2007 and 2016
- € 20 children born between 2017 and 2021
The price includes return gondola ticket (open specially for the occasion), snowshoe hike with an alpine guide, snowshoe hire, and tasty aperitif in a mountain hut. The ski pass is not valid.
Reservation compulsory, minimum 20 people. The experience can be booked online or in the tourist offices by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, 12 February. When booking you can indicate: any food intolerances, in order to best meet your needs. In case of weather conditions that do not allow the initiative to run smoothly, it will be postponed to Friday, 14 February.
