Three days of discovering Moscato Giallo at Castel Beseno.
The big harvest festival, now in its 12th year
This is an event that lights up the historic centre of Besenello every year, bringing with it the flavours, colours and aromas of tradition. The historic centre’s courtyards will host food and wine stalls where you can sample local delicacies alongside wines from the town’s wineries. There will also be live music and DJ sets, craft and art exhibitions, electric trial mini-bikes, a games room, workshops, model-making and face painting for children, not to mention the pot of luck!
The star of the show once again this year will be Moscato Giallo di Besenello, offered in its elegant dry version and its rich, intense passito version. This wine hails from the ‘Castel Beseno’ subzone and is the basis for the Trentino Superiore Castel Beseno DOC — a wine of exceptional quality, given the limited area dedicated to Moscato Giallo production. The wines of Cantine Sociali, where local farmers bring their produce, will accompany the event and can be sampled in the well-stocked wine shop.
