Brentonico is the ideal place for rock-climbers; they can practice surrounded by fir forests in a fairy-tale location. This natural rock-climbing area, featuring colourful calcareous rock, is perfect for free-climbing and offers different climbing grading. It is possible to rock climb all year round according to sun and snow coverage - the area faces south. About 30 aided, fixed rope routes are available ranging in difficulty from 4c to 8a and covering a difference in altitude of about 20 m. After years and years of climbing, some of the routes have actually become smooth.
