Circus at Buffaure with Jorik C'è
As part of the Circen Dolomites Festival, an overwhelming show of contagious joy staged by the female artist specialising in unicycling and juggling while balancing on a soft rope
Fresh, cheerful and enterprising, the show "Dai che ce la fai!" embodies the spirit of an incredible adventure capable of transporting spectators into the dimension of "you can do it!". The presence is that of an inspired, technical, feminine, generous, capable and indomitable artist, always ready for a joke and to accompany tenacity with lightness. Nicknamed the "tiger of Bologna", Jorik calls herself a precarious worker, because she is a tightrope walker. Compelling twists and turns and a strong involvement with the audience, chosen as assistants, are a key message: persist in your own efforts. The technique is that of the slack rope, with unicycling on the wire and juggling, taken to the highest levels in Europe with an exercise that only Jorik knows how to perform, the result of that "keep trying".
Free show for adults and children of all ages. Duration approx. 40 minutes. At 2 p.m. at the Baita Cuz refuge, at an altitude of 2200 m. The place can be reached by lift from Pozza (cable car + chairlift) and then on foot. Panorama Pass or Dolomiti Supersummer are valid for the lifts. In case of bad weather, the show is cancelled.
"Dai che ce la fai!" is one of the shows of the "Circen Dolomites Festival". For a whole week, and to be more precise from 26 July to 2 August, Val di Fassa hosts prominent street artists and good international jugglers. Squares, museums, but also high-altitude locations, turn into exceptional stages for astonishing performances, both in ability and creativity. The festival is organised by Fassa’s group of jugglers "Circensema", founded in 2017 in partnership with the local association "Inout", which for some years has been practising the circus art and also training, together with professionals, some teenagers that perform in a few shows throughout the year, juxtaposing juggling and theatre.
