"DISPLAY" can be visited at Palazzo Calepini in Trento from 4 October to 1 December 2024.
DISPLAY is Fondazione Caritro's new project designed to enhance its artistic heritage. After the extensive catalogue work carried out in 2022, here is another opportunity to immerse yourself in a fully digitised art catalogue including paintings, sculptures, maps and sketches. This is an opportunity that the Foundation – one of the first private bodies to make its collection fully accessible – wants to offer to the community.
At Palazzo Calepini, the headquarters of Fondazione Caritro in Trento, it will be possible to interact first-hand with the works in the collection, through an innovative and engaging path capable of giving visitors an unprecedented experience.
DISPLAY unfolds in three interconnected moments: the first, Reflection, is a story in numbers of the Collection. The second, the Dive, will allow the visitor to explore and navigate the Collection. The last, Creation, will be the space in which everyone can build – even physically – their own selection of works.
DISPLAY is an experimental project, a reflection on accessibility as a strategy for the enhancement of art. It provides the tools to understand the size and complexity of the Fondazione Caritro Art Collection and invites each person to create endless experiments.
