Bivacco Vigolana
A place of peace and reflection in a landscape suitable for those who love the mountains in all their forms, perfect for a hike in the mountains or for a climb on the magnificent spire of the Madonnina.
From Frisanchi, the highest hamlet of the old municipality of Centa San Nicolò, starts the forest road path from where the Sat 444 path branches off, which accompanies the intersection with the 445 path that rises from Malga Doss del Bue. Just above, "La Polsa", a small shaded plateau. Continuing along the path, you enter the mughal bush and reach the Dolomite gravels of the Val Larga. Arriving at the slopes of Cima Vigolana you can admire the profile view of the Bivouac and the Madonna and Friar that protect it. From the Bivouac the view opens onto three territories: the Vigolana Plateau and the Marzola just in front, the Valsugana on the right and the Val d 'Adige with the city of Trento on the left. The Bivouac is also interesting from an architectural point of view, rebuilt in 2016 with an innovative design, with an inverted pyramid trunk, a bright, spacious and comfortable interior, which opens onto the outside with five glazed surfaces.
