Step into (quite literally!) the role of a beekeeper and uncover the secrets of the bee world.
You can look forward to:
- Learning about the beekeeping history of the Santuliana family;
- A stroll through the olive groves of Arco to Calaverna, the location of the permanent beehive;
- Visiting the beehive in full beekeeping gear (provided by the beekeeper: protective suit, face shield, and smoker). You'll have the chance to search for the queen in a specially opened beehive and taste honey straight from the comb;
- Getting an insight into the honey extraction workshop and learning how honey vinegar is made;
- Tasting 4 different types of honey from Trentino, Trentino honey vinegar, and a glass of mead, served with bread, a selection of cheeses, and water.

- Included services: Guided tour of the permanent apiary in the Arco olive grove and the apiary where honey and honey vinegar are produced, followed by a tasting session;
- Required equipment: Wear long trousers, boots or high-top shoes;
- Provided equipment: Beekeeper's'suit or smock, beekeeper's'gloves, lever or crowbar, smoker;
- Only people who have no allergies or intolerances to bee stings, bee venom or beehive products may take part in this activity.
- Minimum age: 5 years.
