Trentino in the autumn: There’s something about shopping

Of typical products of course! Here are 4 suggestions not to be missed for a souvenir

Where to buy local products in Trento

Workshops, shops, local specialities, artisans who with passion, creativity, and age-old knowledge, transform what nature provides into small works of art: shopping in Trentino is made of small changes in tone, warm colours, ancient traditions, and authentic scents and flavours. So why not stop among the streets of towns - big and small - where our mountains come to life through a variety of typical products and original gifts?

You can purchase gastronomical products such as honey, cider and apple juice, or carne salada, or try the delicate flavour of extra virgin olive oil from the Trentino Garda area. For a gift, there are also excellent cosmetics and natural creams made with calendula, edelweiss or arnica, or gooseberry and wild berries scented bath foam.

Agraria, Riva del Garda

If you want to take a piece of Garda away with you after your holidays in Trentino, you absolutely must stop here: you will find not only extra virgin olive oil, but also wine and local products like carne salada, to be eaten either raw or cooked. Enjoy your meal!

Casa del miele, Lavarone

You can find all kinds of honey on the Cimbran Alp: millefiori, Acacia, Erica, and Lime. For sure, since 1960, the Marigo family has been collecting honey in the woods surrounding Lavarone, with much passion. Don't miss the Honey Museum.

Olga Casanova, Pellizzano

Love for the territory, for agriculture and for well-being make this organic farm an excellent example of organic and natural cosmetics. Edelweiss and mountain herbs are at the base of products like facial creams, body creams, and detergent oils.

Sidreria Lucia Maria, Tres

In Tres, Predaia, in the heart of the Val di Non, the Trentino Cider Brewery at the Lucia Maria Melchiori company has a shop that is a true culinary showcase of products derived from apple, cider, apple juice and apple cider vinegar. Worth trying!
