When you spend a few days with the family on the snow in the Italian Alps, entertainment is guaranteed for everyone - for the grownups, keen on skiing, but also the for the little ones.

There are many mountain huts and restaurants easy to reach by chairlift and many amenities for families in proximity to the ski slopes. Trampolines, rides, inflatables, snow tubing, sledging and baby parks are just some of the attractions to keep the children happy for the whole day. You can even find kids libraries on the snow, interesting workshops and many game activities to inspire creativity and curiosity.

Chalet Cima Uomo, Passo San Pellegrino 

Located at Passo San Pellegrino, easy to reach by car for those who don’t ski, this restaurant offers not just delicious comfort food but also an outdoor Kinderpark where the children can run off some energy, assisted by the operators, while mums and dads can relax and soak up the sun.

Gran Baita hut, Val di Fiemme

It’s fun building snowmen, slidingdown on snow tubes and sledges with mum and dad while surrounded by beautiful snow-capped mountains: Baita Doss dei Laresi, located half way on the Alpe Cermis cable car, features a free play area and a marvellous terrace where you can top up your tan and relax after a ski run.

Rifugio Meriz, Dolomiti Paganella

A classic mountain hut with exposed wooden beams and excellent cuisine welcoming skiers on their way from the pistes of Dosso Larici and Nuvola Rossa on Paganella. You can spot the large bistro terrace of Rifugio Meriz from distance. Outside you will find a playground with inflatables where the little ones can enjoy themselves under the supervision of friendly entertainers.
