This warm, stylish mountain hut, featuring unruffled glamour and an intimate, peaceful atmosphere, has a restaurant that seats about thirty people, who can relish gourmet dishes at an altitude of 2.260 m asl.

For instance, meat-based fondue, Fiorentina steak or chateaubriand with a side dish. Italian cuisine is skilfully blended with Ladin traditional fare, thus specialities range from grilled meat to bourguignonne fondue. The wine cellar, boasting over 400 labels, is the restaurant’s show-piece.

Nestled between the Val Gardena and Val di Fassa, the Fienile Monte is situated right on the ski slopes, in the heart of one of the most renowned ski-areas of Trentino, on the famous skitours of the Giro dei Quattro Passi (the circuit touching Four Mountain Passes) and the Sellaronda.

While sipping a mountain grape sparkling wine aperitif, seated comfortably on a lounge armchair on the sun deck, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Sella Mountain Chain and Sassolungo. Wonderful during the day, the mountain hut becomes magical after sunset, when the starry sky and moon light up the Dolomites cloaked in white.

How to get there

To reach the Fienile Monte hut, during the day you can use the mountain lifts. However, if you go there in the evening for dinner, you can leave your car at Passo Sella and use the snowmobile transfer service made available to guests by the hut. This is just the place for a cosy, refined dining experience, away from the hustle and bustle.
