Take your kids to an adventure park, and suddenly they’ll be up in the trees, testing their nerve on a canopy walk, whizzing back to earth on a zip wire, or maybe whooping their way along an alpine coaster.

It will give them a very different idea of what a forest can be. Each offers a different experience, but our adventure parks are all built according to the same guiding principle, which is this: the natural world is an amazing playground, and there are all sorts of ways to have fun in it. 

Many have been created in beautiful areas of woodland, and there, the more adventurous can also try the Tarzan trails, which will test them with Nepalese bridges, rope ladders, zig-zag trunks and even lianas, all set at a breathtaking altitude.

The Forest Park of Molveno, the Agility Park of San Martino di Castrozza, the Flying Park of Malé, and the Acroparks of Centa San Nicolò and Molina di Fiemme are just some of the adventure parks in Trentino. Here, both children and adults can try high and low-level walkways, zipwires and tree-climbing: all under the watchful eye of qualified instructors, and with the added protection of safety lines, helmets and harnesses.

Alpine Coaster Gardoné

Meanwhile, for a different kind of buzz, jump on one of the wheeled toboggans of the Alpine Coaster Gardonè – and let fly down its smooth and swooping 1km course. With the fir trees of Latemar around you, and the peaks of the Dolomites in the distance, there are few more beautiful spots in which to scare yourself silly.
