Are you at your first gravity MTB experience?

Here are some ideas on how to get started in the Trentino bike areas

SUMMER - Did you decide to experience the world of gravity biking but you still don’t know where to start? Our advice is to come and visit us in Trentino. In our bike parks you will find many tracks that are right for you, as well as pump tracks and skill areas that are even suitable for the little ones, to help you improve your balance and learn the correct techniques to approach different obstacles. All under the expert eye of MTB guides you will find in the largest bike parks.

Here you will find some ideas in the main Trentino bike areas. Choose where to start and never forget: MTB in perfect condition, suitable clothing and caution, always! Just follow these three simple rules to fall in love with the world of gravity.

Big Hero Trail, Paganella

If you need advice and ideas on how to get started, take a look at the Orientation Guide of the Dolomiti Paganella Bike, dedicated to those who are about to take their first steps on the saddle of their gravity MTB. After you have learned what to do, you are ready to try the Big Hero, the easiest flow trail in the whole bike area, accessible to all beginners, including the little ones (from 8 years old). Perhaps, at the beginning, you may want to consider being in the company of a guide.

Skill Park Fassabike, Val di Fassa

Skill Park Fassabike is the place for budding young cyclists or children who want to go for their first bike-ride. This learning park - one of three in the valley - features a pump track area and several courses with man-made obstacles, on a variety of surfaces and levels. All under the constant supervision of the Fassabike guides.

Colbricon Bike Park, San Martino

Opened in June 2022, this brand new bike park, which you can reach by the Colbricon Express cable car, offers you two easily accessible tracks: the Inventum Trail and the Paludis Trail. Average gradient between 8 and 10%, and a height variance between 110 and 360 metres, for a soft approach to the world of gravity biking.

Kids Bike Park, Val di Sole

Here is a proposal for the little ones, who want to approach the world of MTB in complete safety, becoming familiar with curves, climbs and different obstacles they might encounter. The sites are the Kids Bike Parks of Pellizzano, Folgarida and Marilleva and the Pump Track in Commezzadura, in the Val di Sole mountains. Opening 20 June.

Bike Park Family, Val di Sole

Also in Val di Sole, you will find the Pontedilegno Bike Park, the first Family Bike Park in Trentino. You reach the trail by chairlift and, once at the top, you can try your hand at tracks for downhill and free ride lovers at all levels. North - shore (wooden walkways with the strangest shapes), parabolics and a particularly “flow” terrain make it a suitable destination for bikers of all levels.
