The pleasure of reaching the top by cable transport, and then enjoying the descent in a unique natural setting: these are the criteria we have chosen to select the top natural routes for enduro MTB in Trentino. As you can imagine, these are highly technical descents due to the presence of natural obstacles, such as rocks and roots, and sudden changes of direction. They must therefore be tackled with caution, with adequate preparation and with your bike in perfect condition.
The strong point of the routes you find in Trentino? The natural setting. Most of these trails boast a privileged view of the Dolomites and its most famous peaks. Tutti frutti, Val di Fassa
It is the iconic trail of Val di Fassa, selected as the Queen Stage of the Enduro World Series (EWS). It starts from the Col Rodella ridge (which you reach by cable system) and ends in the town of Canazei, for a total of over 6.5 km with a total elevation variance of almost 1000 m. Around you, the majestic setting of the Dolomites.
Giada Line 806, Paganella
You start at an altitude of 2125 metres, from Cima Paganella (which you can reach by cable systems). Once you reach your destination, you enjoy the panoramic view from the Brenta Dolomites to Lake Garda. Then your descent starts: the route is full of technical stretches, fast and flow sections, which allow you to arrive at the start of the Santel Bike Park. For experienced riders!
854 - Rosspach, Alpe Cimbra
A long descent “into the wild”, from Folgaria to the valley floor, covering for long stretches what was the ancient medieval road system. What makes this route special are the access points to Rio Cavallo (Rosspach), some of which are suitable for canyoning and diving into crystal clear pools, or simply walking along stretches of the stream.
Trail Malga Campo 707, Val di Sole
A tour that takes you into the silent and pristine nature of the Stelvio National Park in Val di Peio. Along this itinerary, you will walk on a pleasant climb on the Austrian military road dating back to the Great War. The itinerary is varied and technical, and recommended for those who have trained legs
Valsorda Enduro Classic - Tour 2271, San Martino
This Enduro track was completely refurbished in autumn 2013 and equipped with wooden walkways to cross the marshy areas. You reach high altitude (2200 metres above sea level) by the Tognola cable car and then descend from Alpe Tognola towards Caoria and the Vanoi valley, along the Scandola meadows and the Tognola Farmsteads.
