Trentino's cultural scene takes to the field for the Olympics

With many initiatives to tell the story of sport and its nature

The Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games are coming to Trentino. While athletes train for the competitions, Trentino's cultural scene is teaming up to explore sport, its character, and its impact on the region.

It's called "Combinations," the project that every year brings together Trentino's museums and cultural institutions around a single theme, exploring it from different perspectives. This year, the theme for 2025-2026 is “Combinazioni_caratteri sportivi”.

There are numerous cultural initiatives throughout Trentino, from exhibitions organized in the major provincial museums to initiatives tied to the region. Exhibitions, themed walks, meetings, and debates highlight how the values of sport are linked to those of Trentino.
