Since 2005, this Ecomuseum born "from below" has been dedicated to enhancing the Argentario area. The territory is narrated by themes: the natural environment, the mines, the fortifications and much more.

The Associazione Ecomuseo Argentario was born "from the bottom up", that is, from the sensitivity of local communities who felt the need to start a process of safeguarding their environmental and cultural heritage.
Since 2005, the Ecomuseum, thanks to the commitment of the population and the support of the Administrations of the Municipalities of Civezzano, Fornace, Albiano and Trento, has been responsible for the protection and enhancement of an area with unique characteristics: from ancient mines to local stone quarries, from naturalistic beauties to traces of the Great War, from small villages to ancient crafts and local agricultural products. In fact, talking about an eco-museum means talking about the territory and its use, at all levels, by the inhabitants and visitors.
