6.40 a.m. start of the dawn concert with Camerata RCO – Musicisti della Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra at Prà Castron di Flavona.

Beyond the Grostè Pass, the Brenta Dolomites further north become something else. Above all silence, broken from time to time by the whistling of marmots, the rolling of stones moved by chamois on ledges. Prà Castròn di Flavona, a natural basin dominated by the walls of this Brenta, unknown to most and somewhat mysterious, hosts this year's Dawn of the Dolomites, an event that is always a source of great emotion. The Camerata Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra of Amsterdam, an ensemble made up of the first parts of one of the most prestigious symphony orchestras in the world, will perform an entirely Mozart-inspired programme for the many music and mountain enthusiasts who greet the sunrise at high altitudes every year. The wish to found it was due to the desire of its members to extend their shared and consolidated experience as orchestra professors to the field of chamber music. The extraordinary flexibility of the ensembles with which the Camerata RCO proposes itself makes it possible to explore the entire range of musical literature, from the Baroque to contemporary music.
HOW TO GET THERE:
from Passo Campo Carlo Magno with the Grostè cable car (open for the occasion at 5.15 am), cost per person € 27,00 (parking fee at the lift departure point) and then on foot following trail 306/Sentiero delle Palete

During the concert the sunrise will illuminate us, but a headlamp is necessary for the approach path.
