The Agritur Piffer is a new construction, built by the family themselves with loving care and located in a quiet area surrounded by vineyards on the edge of Lavis. Just 8 km north of Trento and 1 km from the cycle path running along the banks of the river Adige, it is a convenient base for visiting the valleys of Trentino and for discovering the various wine and food roads.
The Piffer family offer a warm welcome. The rooms are furnished in solid spruce wood, where you’ll sleep soundly as the electrical system is fitted with a circuit breaker to minimise electric and magnetic fields. In the morning you can enjoy an abundant breakfast with fresh fruit gathered from the neighbouring field, home-made traditional bread and cakes, fruit juices and jams… and from the window of the breakfast room you can enjoy splendid views of the Paganella mountain and Monte Bondone.
The Agritur was constructed using, wherever possible, eco-compatible building materials such as local stone and cobblestones, and clay bricks. The roof is of waxed, wire-brushed solid spruce wood lined with transparent roof insulation made from hemp and flax fibre; we have used traditional sand and lime mortar, the windows and doors are solid spruce wood and the floors are stone or solid larch.
