What does “Blue Flag” mean?

The Blue Flag is an international recognition, established in 1987, the European Year of the Environment. Every year it is awarded to municipalities and tourist destinations in 49 European and non-European countries.

Situated (1100 meters asl) in a pasture valley at the foot of grass Becco di Filadonna in the town of Centa S. Nicolò. In summer, this place is ideal for trekking and mountain bike tours and for those looking for some water sports activities may come to the nearby Caldonazzo lake. There is a wide variety of available water sports whether you want to sail, surf, dive, canoe or race and if you don't have the necessary gear, you can rent it. In winter instead, there are some ski resorts in the vicinity like Folgaria-Lavarone, and the Panarotta Bondone.
